Tasting Events

Whether you’re looking to learn a little bit more with friends and family, entertain your colleagues or are in need of a wine tasting for corporate events, our private tasting events are the way forward. Within an hour or two, you can transport yourself to anywhere in the world, tasting your way from country to country, vineyard to vineyard… But wait! Don’t get too hooked on those vineyards, because we can also do beer, spirits and sake tastings.

Our tasting events are hosted by our team of experts, who have all been in the industry for a long time and have years of experience in brewing, hospitality and much more. We’re a vibrant crowd wanting to share our knowledge and our passion with you, so put a face to a name and go meet our experts at the bottom of the page.

We offer in-person and virtual tastings which last for 1-2 hours depending on the number of people and what’s being tasted. For virtual tastings, we can split the bottles into mini samples that can slide through your letterbox. And for in-person tastings, we’ll bring the bottles and you can keep whatever is left at the end.

All of our tasting events are tailored to you and your requirements. We’ve detailed some basic packages below, but if you had something else in mind, then please do let us know using the enquiry form below.

And if you want to dip your toes in the water before organising a private tasting event, then why not come to one of our public tastings? Check out our events page to see what’s coming up. Or host a DIY tasting, and download our tasting notes.

At the moment we can only offer in-person tastings to the following postcodes: W4, W6, W12, TW9, SW6, SW14, SW15, WC, EC. If you live or work outside of these areas, then please do still contact us using the form below or emailing us at tastings@fromourcellar.com and we will see what we can do. We can also provide a venue in Chiswick or Westminster if you would like us to.

COVID UPDATE: If your in-person tasting can no longer go ahead due to Covid, then we can either rearrange the date or switch this to a virtual event. Please note that, for the event to become virtual, we will need at least 1 weeks notice to make sure we can get your drinks to you in time. If you have ordered food for your event then this will need to be discussed separately. Existing virtual events will remain unchanged. Virtual events can be recorded at your request in case anyone is unable to attend on the day.

Feeling hungry?

For virtual tastings, we can send some delicious snacks alongside your drinks that you can pop open to enjoy during the event. Think olives, hummus, pitta chips, maybe a little cheese or charcuterie.

For in-person events, we can offer a range of food, from nibbles to full meals prepared by Old Town Deli in Chiswick. Just let us know if there are any dietary requirements, and we’ll come up with some yummy dishes to pair with your tasting.

Themes

We love having a theme at our tastings as it gives a central idea for us to base our drink choices and our discussions around, and makes comparing the drinks that much more interesting. The themes can be as narrow or as wide as you like, so whether you’re having a reunion to celebrate that trip to Waiheke or craving some warming reds, we’ve got you covered.

Here are a couple of ideas we’ve put together as inspiration:

New World Wines BAME Wine Producers Oak Aged Wines
Aged Spirits Orange Wines Gluten Free Beers
Female Founders Wine from Northern Italy Wines from the Pinot Family
UK Wines Small Batch Wines & Spirits Organic Wines
